This increases obesity, keeps the stomach bad and there is a risk of fatty liver. When you do not sleep, people start eating medicine. But now in a new research, it has been revealed that if you do not sleep, then you have to do more effective yoga than medicine. The study found that the best drug of sleeplessness is yoga and tai chi. Tai chi is also Chinese physical activity. Researchers have found that jogging and walking can also improve sleep quality and reduce insomnia problem.

Earlier studies had proved that people suffering from lack of sleep are more at risk of many mental and physical health problems such as heart disease and dementia, memory omission. Cognitive behavior therapy in sleep disease is an effective option for CBT treatment but this option is not always available due to lack of trained therapists. Apart from this, medicines can also be used to treat insomnia, but according to experts, the side effects of these drugs are also enough. In this study, a team of researchers checked what exercises are the most effective for the treatment of insomnia.

Sleep efficiency increased by 15 percent due to yoga
Study In the researchers analyzed several databases associated with 1,348 participants and assessed the effects of 13 different treatment methods how much relief they give in insomnia. Seven of these methods were related to exercise, including a mixture of yoga, tai chi, walking or running, aerobic and strength training, only strength training, aerobic exercises with therapy and aerobic exercise. Other methods included traditional treatment, CBT, nothing, sleep hygiene, Ayurveda, acupuncture or massage. In this trial, researchers used the score system to evaluate the quality of every participant, the severity of insomnia, the total sleep time, the efficiency of the sleep, the frequency of waking up after sleeping and the time it takes to evaluate the time it takes to sleep. It was then found that CBT (cognitive behavior therapy) and some exercise-based measures were effective in the treatment of insomnia. The study stated that the participants who were doing yoga, got two hours more sleep and their sleep efficiency increased by about 15%.

Yoga reduces inflammation
The author of the research said that yoga is based on the awareness of the body, controlled breathing and focus. This can affect brain activity, which relieves symptoms such as anxiety and depression that often obstruct good sleep. At the same time, Tai Chi emphasizes breathing control and physical dysfunction and reduces the activity of the nervous system and calms excessive stimulation. Its attention can promote emotional control and reduce anxiety. It can also help in reducing the manufacture of prolonged inflammation chemicals.
