This video of the person offering Namaz in the Tirupati temple is viral on social media.
The incident of offering prayers of a person came to light at Tirupati Balaji Temple in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh. A video of that person is going viral on social media. The incident is reported to be on 22 May. The same person is also seen in a car parked outside the temple.
It is being claimed that this video of Namaz reading is of Kalyan Mandapam made in the temple premises. However, TTD has not yet made any statement on the matter.
While reading the Namaz, neither the people of the temple administration stopped, nor did anyone object to this, due to which questions are also being raised on the security system of the temple.
Only the person sitting in this car parked outside the temple was seen offering Namaz in the Tirupati temple complex.
Police are searching for the prayer
This Muslim person came in a TN83 T6705 car with Tamil Nadu registration number on Thursday afternoon. Tirupati SP Harshvardhan Raju reached the spot as soon as the matter came to light. Where he came to know that the driver who came to Tirumala with a group of devotees had offered prayers. The driver’s actions were recorded in the CCTV camera.
The Tirumala police is now looking for this man. It is being said that the person has already left Tirumala. Why did he do this? Why did he pray despite strict rules in Tirumala? Who is that person? He did this work intentionally or without the knowledge of the rules. The police is investigating this.
Rules made regarding entry of non -Hindus in the temple
Darsal, besides Hindus, people of other religions who want to see Lord Balaji, have a practice to sign the manifesto in the Tirupati temple. Under the AP Revenue Sntislation-1, non-Hindus have to make this announcement in the Vaikuntham campus before visiting.
Non-Hindu devotees are required to sign an a declaration before entering the temple, in which they resolve to respect their faith and temple traditions in Lord Venkateswara. This manifesto is usually deposited in the 17th room of the Vaikuntham Q complex.
Rule was changed in 2020, came into force again after dispute
In September 2020, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) President YV Subba Reddy announced that non-Hindu devotees would no longer need to declare their faith to enter the temple. However, this decision has been controversial and the rules have been changed from time to time.
Last year, there was an animal fat dispute in Laddu
After the Mahashanti Yajna in the Tirupati temple, Panchagavya was purified at all places.
The Karnataka Cooperative Milk Federation (KMF) had been giving ghee to the trust at concessional rates for the last 50 years. The Tirupati temple takes 1400 tons of ghee every six months. In July 2023, the company refused to supply at a low rate, after which Jagan Sarkar (YSRCP) gave 5 firm supplies. One of them is also AR Dairy Foods at Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. Its product was disturbed in July this year.
The Laddu controversy began when CM Chandrababu Naidu alleged on 18 September 2024 that the YSR Congress government had animal fat vegetable oil and fish oil in the Tirupati temple laddus.
