The district administration and health department are alert about this.
Children aged 1 to 15 are more affected
According to doctors, brain fever is a serious disease, which affects children between 1 to 15 years more. Its symptoms include high fever, brightness, headache, confusion and fainting. The disease is found more in Japanese encephalitis, measles, mumps, smallpox, malnutrition, half -baked litchi and more in children living near porbada or waterfowls.
This disease remains active throughout the year in Bihar, but between April and November, its cases come more. Due to this, the mortality rate has been found from 20 to 30 percent. The following things have been suggested to prevent disease. Give children a full meal at night. Check their position in the morning and night. Protect from strong sunlight. Bath twice a day. Drink ORS and lemonade sugar solution. Immediately take 102 ambulances or other vehicles to the hospital on any symptom.
Civil surgeon Shivendra Sinha said that to prevent its prevention, you should definitely follow hygiene behaviors. Children and elders should have a habit of washing hands with soap before eating and after toilet. Give children to drink clean and boiled water. Include liquid and nutritious foods in their food. Mothers breastfeed young children more and do not use bottle to feed. Keep cleanliness during the preparation of food including cleaning of infants. Instruct children’s personal hygiene things like brush, food or other types of items not to share. While coughing and sneezing, make a habit of covering the mouth and nose with a handkerchief. Avoid coming in contact with such people who have been meningitis.
