According to media reports, after 17 years, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan are going to work together again for the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film ‘Oppam’. The original film released in 2016 featured Mohanlal in the lead role. Recent reports suggest that Akshay may play the role of villain in this new version, although no official announcement has been made so far. According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, the report on casting and film details, while Saif is in the lead role, Akshay will be cast in a dangerous avatar. The film is essentially a high-dot battle between Akshay and Saif, and they are going to fight against each other with full force. The film will appear on the floor in August this year and will be released in 2026.
