The teaser of ‘Twenty -one’ released, release 2 October 2025.

New Delhi: Famous Indian film director Shriram Raghavan is bringing his new film ‘Twenty -one’. Its first teaser has been released and the release date has also been revealed. The film is based on the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War. This film is also special because Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson will be seen with Dharmendra. In 1975, the blockbuster pair of Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra gave Sholay which proved to be an iconic film. Now after 50 years, Dharmendra is bringing a film with Big B’s grandson.

The makers have also unveiled the release date of twenty -one. The film will be released in theaters on 2 October 2025. Its story is based on the life of Arun Khetrapal, the second lieutenant of the Indian Army. Arun Khetrapal attained Veeragati on 16 December 1971, showing a wonderful valor in the 1971 war. At that time he was only 21 years old, so the film is named ‘Twenty -one’.

Arun Khetrapal was posthumously awarded the Paramveer Chakra for valor and sacrifice during the war. Arun fought bravely with his remaining two tanks and destroyed 10 Pakistani tanks, but eventually martyred.

Raghavan is known for fantastic films like ‘Ek Hasina Thi’, ‘Johnny Gaddar’ and ‘Andhadhun’. In the film, Bollywood veteran Dharmendra, actor of web series ‘Patal Lok’, Jaideep Ahlawat and Big B’s grandson Agastya Nanda will be seen in the lead role.
