Why the heiring loss after Corona.
Covid Patients Hearing Loss: A new study has shown that the problems of heiring loss have started increasing rapidly in those who were badly affected by Corona. In some patients, the ability to listen completely is over. This study has been done by the doctors of Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College and the doctors of the hospital’s ear, nose and throat department. Associate Professor of the ENT department said that we have found in the study that about 40 percent of the patients cured by Corona ended with one ear, while 60 percent of the patients had the ability to listen to both ears.
Dr. Pankaj Kumar Told that after corona, the number of patients who heard less than one ear or both ear increased. After this we did a research about it. Shocking results were revealed in research. We found in our research that its effect was very high among people between the ages of 30 and 60 years. Some of them had trouble listening to one ear, then someone had trouble listening to both ears. We kept all these people under surveillance and saw whether the reason for this is Corona. After this we found that probably the biggest reason for this is Corona. Dr. Pankaj said that due to corona, inflammation occurred in many internal parts of the body. This thing has also been revealed in earlier research. In this research, we found that due to corona, inflammation occurred in the auditorial nerve due to which the auditorial nerve was partially damaged. The auditorial nerve is the path between the ear and the brain, which gives the signal of the sound to the brain. Obviously, if there is a problem in this, then there will be no sign of sound in the mind. If it is not heard in this situation, then it is called Senceneural Heiring Loss.
How these patients were treated
Dr. Pankaj Kumar Told that when it was decided from the Pyotime Audatori test that these patients have a sensorial heiring loss, then we kept these patients under monitoring for three days and conducted them separately every day. This time we adopted a different method of treatment because when corticosteroids were given in earlier treatment, the risk of mucker myosis started to grow more. Therefore, this time we tried to fix these patients by giving multivetamins only. And this effort was completely successful. The problem of heiring loss in all the patients was over.
Dr. Pankaj Kumar said that if you are suffering from corona and you have a little difficulty in hearing, just as there is difficulty in hearing the voice on the phone, there is difficulty in listening to the TV, there is difficulty in listening to the sound of the car or you are not understanding the voice properly in talking to people, then immediately contact the doctor. In the same condition, if the ENT goes to the doctor, then there will be a possibility of fully recovering. If it is delayed, then the possibility of treatment will be reduced and in that case you can also lose the ability to listen permanently.
