Mumbai. Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) is going to start with its 12th season from 29 August 2025. This time, four cities will be played in Visakhapatnam, Jaipur, Chennai and Delhi. Like every time, this time also 12 best teams in the country will take on the title. Pro Kabaddi League season 12 will be broadcast live on Star Sports Network and online streaming geographstar.
The tournament will start from the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Friday. Telugu Titans will face Tamil Thalaivas in the opening match. The same day the second match will be played between Bengaluru Bulls and Puneri Paltan. On August 30, the Telugu Titans will again come down on the field, this time UP will be playing against the warrior. The second match of this day will be between U Mumba and Gujarat giants.
‘Super Sunday’ means that on Sunday, the audience will again get to see two big matches. Tamil Thalaivas and U Mumba will be face to face in the first match. The second match of the day will be between the current champions Haryana Steelers and the Bengal Warriors. In this way, the first three days of the league will be full of bang bang.
Visakhapatnam’s return as the host is a special attraction of this season, where Pro Kabaddi is being held after seven years. Earlier, this city was held in season 1, 3 and then in Season 6 (2018). With this historic return, Visakhapatnam will once again shine on the map of Indian kabaddi.
After this, the action shift will be done from September 12 in the indoor hall of Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Two matches will be played here on the first day-two-time champion Jaipur Pink Panthers vs. Bangalore Bulls, and then Tamil Thalaivaz vs. Bengal Warriors. Jaipur has a special place in Pro Kabaddi. During season 10, the historic 1000th match of the league was played here.
The third phase will start from September 29 at the SDAT Multiper Indoor Stadium in Chennai. On the first day, there will be a competition between UP Warriorj and Gujarat giants. In the second match, Dabang Delhi KC and Haryana Steelers will be face to face. The special thing is that in this match, star raider Naveen Kumar will be seen playing against his old team.
The league phase will conclude at the Tyagraj Sports Complex in Delhi, which will start from October 13. In this phase, the audience will get to see a tremendous match. This phase will begin with interesting matches like Patna Pirates vs Haryana Steelers and U Mumba vs UP Warrior.
This time the league phase will end with triple header matches, that is, the thrill of three matches every day, which will give a lot of entertainment to the kabaddi fans. After this, the tournament will enter the playoff stage, the dates of which will be announced later.
