6 people died in a road accident on Bhopal-Jabalpur road in Raisen. The incident took place between 6.30 am to 7 am on Monday morning near the monkey culvert near Bamhori Dhaba.

Tempo tracks (storm) first hit the culvert, followed by 10 feet deep. 3 people, including the bride and groom, were seriously injured in the accident. There were a total of 9 people in the car.
According to SP Pankaj Kumar Pandey, two women, a girl and three men died on the spot in the accident. Initial investigation has revealed that the accident occurred due to the driver’s sleep.
Bari SDOP Aditi Saxena told that the car was going from Jabalpur towards Indore. The injured are being referred after first aid at Sultanpur Hospital. These people were residents of Indore. All went to Patna in Bihar at the wedding, returning from there.
