According to the journal, Naxalites are also mastered in making Clemore Mine i.e. Directional IED. These IED’s can be planted on the tree. It has even claimed that Naxalites also know how to make an explosive of the Army’s M6 grenade.

- The switch is also called a trigger or activator. These can be of many types. It also includes switches used in the electrical boards of homes. Explosives are triggered through this switch.
- Power source switch connects to a power source or battery. These power sources can range from the battery of the car to the watch battery. In some cases, a coach can also be a power source.
- The main charge is responsible for the main charge i.e. primary explosive, it is responsible for the blast. The main charge contains chemicals like ammonium nitrate, urea nitrate, trinitrotoluine. However, it is not in pure form, but other compounds are mixed with them.
- Inchiter is the use of fuse or detonator as an initiator. Detonator is a small explosive charge. Which is associated with the main charge. It is connected to the main charge through power source.
