37 Medicine Price Reduces: Companies can no longer decide the price arbitrarily on antibiotics and pen killer medicines. The central government has fixed the price for this. The central government has fixed the maximum value of four emergency drugs and 37 antibiotics and painkillers. Ie no one will be able to sell it at a higher price. These prices have been decided by the National Drug Pricing Authority (NPPA). These drugs include mainly infection, heart disease, diabetes, vitamins and painkillers.

The NPPA has said that the manufacturer companies selling both the branded or generic drugs at a higher price than the sealing price (including GST) will amend it. It will not have to keep more than the sealing price at any cost. However, the NPPA said that manufacturers who have maximum retail price (MRP) is lower than the ceiling price will maintain the existing MRP. These emergency uses include the opratropium, which is used in people suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. This dawan is used in respiratory related diseases. For this, cough and chest tightness are also done.

The price of these drugs fixed
The sealing prize of the drug used in respiratory related diseases was fixed at Rs 2.96 per milliliter. Similarly, sodium nitroproseide is used to reduce blood pressure or in controlling it in emergency conditions of high blood pressure or to reduce bleeding during heart failure and surgery. Its price was fixed at Rs 28.99 per milliliter. Diltyzem is used to treat high blood pressure and chest pain, which was priced at Rs 26.72 per capsule. Action is more recovery than price
Other drugs whose prices have been cut include paracetamol, atorvastatin, amoxicillin and metformin. The affected drugs include a mixture of esiclofenac, paracetamol, and tripsin kymotripsin, which is used as an anti -inflammatory and cardiovascular drug, which comes as a combination of atorvastatin 40 mg and clopidograil 75 mg. According to the NPPA, the notified prices are GST-free and additional fees can also be charged if needed. The NPPA has also asked retail vendors and dealers to showcase the new prices prominently and said that if the new rates are not followed, the DPCO and the Essential Complaints will be a punishable offense under the Act 1955. This will also include recovery of additional recovered amount including interest. -IANS
