Prateek told Zoom, ‘There was some estrangement in the past between my father’s wife (Nadira) and my mother (Smita Patil). In the meantime, many things were said in the press. I was ready to do something at another ceremony with my father and his family. I felt that it would not be right to call him and his family to that house after everything was over.
