Exss Sweating Can Cause Uti: The temperature is continuously increasing. With this, many types of infections can engulf a person. In women, cases of urinary tract infection (UTI) increase in this season. Its direct connection is with sweat. It may sound strange to hear, but drinking excessive sweating and drinking less water can cause this disease.
Dehydration can cause dehydration
Dr. Tripti Raheja, the chief consultant at the Department of Abstatrics and Gynecology at CK Birla Hospital in Delhi, says that sweating in summer is common. Actually, when the body temperature rises, the sweat tries to keep it cool. Due to sweating, there is a lack of water in the body and if in such a situation, the risk of urin infection increases. This disease is seen more in women.
What is the reason for UTI in summer
When there is a lack of water in the body, it affects the urine system. Dehydration causes low urine to become less in the body and what is made is too thick. Dark yellow urine is a sign of drinking less water. In this urine, the body waste is high and less water, which causes irritation while urin and this increases the risk of bacteria growing. Due to lack of water in urin, bacteria remain inside the urine system, which can cause urinary tract infection (UTI).
More problems in women
In women, cases of urinary tract infection are more seen than men. The reason for this is that the urine pipes of women are small and open, due to which bacteria easily reach the bladder while it does not happen in men. UTI is a serious problem, if it is not treated in time, then the kidney can be affected. If urin causes foam, blood or smell, pain or burning sensation while doing urine or feels urination again and again, then see the doctor immediately.
Avoid moisture
According to Dr. Tripti Raheja, women should not wear tight clothes or synthetic fabric during the summer season. Wear undergarments that are of cotton. Even if it sweats in the private part, it will dry quickly. If there is moisture in that area, then bacteria get help in growing. Women who do more cycling, running or outside activity in this season increase the risk of urinary tract infection. Keep drinking water continuously in this season. Apart from water, take coconut water, lassi and buttermilk every day.
