SIT, constituted in the case of MP’s cabinet minister Vijay Shah, who was caught in controversies, has submitted a status report in the Supreme Court, calling Colonel Sophia Qureshi a sister of terrorists. The case will be heard in the apex court on Wednesday (May 28).

A senior Advocate of the Supreme Court said that the SIT report will be made available to Vijay Shah’s lawyer and the government’s lawyer. Based on this report, there will be a discussion in the court on Wednesday.
The SIT of three IPS officers made on the order of the Supreme Court has prepared its investigation report from Manpur police station in Indore district. The SIT has also recorded the statements of the people present on the platform of the Halma program held in Raikunda village on 11 May.
Supreme Court set up SIT on May 19 Earlier on May 19, the Supreme Court, while hearing the case, rejected Minister Vijay Shah’s apology. During this, Shah’s lawyer said that his client has apologized. The court reprimanded him on this. The court said that you have been completely exposed to people. You are a public figure. You should consider your words while speaking.
After this, the court ordered the formation of Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the case. It placed three IPS officers in it. The Madhya Pradesh High Court on 14 May took notice on Shah’s statement and ordered to register an FIR. On the court’s order, an FIR was lodged against him at Mhow police station in Indore. Shah has reached the Supreme Court against this.

Court said- Minister’s apology like crocodile tears As soon as the hearing started, Senior Advocate Maninder Singh, who arrived to advocate for Shah, said- the petitioner has apologized.
Justice Suryakant: Where is that apology? What else is there? We would like to see what kind of apology you have apologized. Sometimes forgiveness is sought to avoid, sometimes it is like a crocodile tear. what do you mean? Justice Suryakant: The kind of lewd comments he made is also without thinking … Now you are apologizing for him.
Justice Suryakant: You are a public figure. Is an experienced leader. You should consider your words while speaking. Act responsibly while speaking. For the army, we can only do so much so. Maninder Singh: We are really sorry.
Justice Suryakant: This argument is rejected. We are not accepting your apology.
Justice Suryakant: You have been completely exposed to people. You have played with people’s feelings. You are saying that if you have hurt… then what happened … What have you done since the High Court’s order to re -write the FIR. Maninder Singh: We are ready to apologize again.
Justice Suryakant: What you want to do, we leave you. You want to convey the message that you have apologized due to the court.
Justice Suryakant: What did you do when the FIR had to be re -written with the intervention of the High Court? You don’t think this is a crime?
Justice Suryakant: We are setting up SITs of three IPS officers. The three officers will be outside the Madhya Pradesh cadre. One of these should be of IG rank and one will be female officers. This is a litmus test for you.

Minister Vijay Shah had said about Operation Sindoor at a Halma program held in Raikunda village of Mhow, Indore on May 11, “He took off our Hindus and Modi ji sent his sister to his house to teach him like this.”
