Jalore The Indian men and women’s team won a bronze medal at the first Asian Para Thruball Championship held from 28 to 30 March 2025 in Panom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. With this achievement, the Indian team made a strong presence in the International Para Games.

Vijay Raj Chaudhary, the vice -captain of the Indian team, who is a resident of Gang village of Raniwada Assembly in Jalore district of Rajasthan, performed the best game in the competition. He was given the title of ‘Best Player of Asia Series’ for his strong performance.

Teams from various countries of Asia participated in the competition. Indian players, showing their talent and hard work, traveled to the semi -finals. However, after a tough match, the team could not find a place in the final, but the Indian team registered a strong victory in the match played for the bronze medal.

Rajasthan players played a special role in the Indian men’s team. Ranjit Gurjar, Karan Singh, Shyam Singh and Prabhu Ram under the leadership of Vijay Raj Chaudhary (Vice -captain) strengthened the team. At the same time, in the women’s category, Rajasthan players Kamla Raigar, Kika Devi, Hemlata Kumari, Suman Gurjar and Mamta Raigar performed well and contributed significantly in getting the team medals.
