According to the TOI report, B.Tech final year student in Indore, female FIDE Master Nityya discussed her experiences with Divya. Nityya said, “Divya is a great player. She is the pride of our country. By winning the world title, she has become an inspiration for all ambitious young girls.” Talking about the previous matches, he said, “I have played a lot with him. She is a very talented player and while playing with him, I felt that she would earn a big name someday.”

In 2019, the ecstasy received the prestigious Eklavya Junior-Level Sports Award from the Government of Madhya Pradesh. However, she had obtained the status of female FIDE master, but her chess activities stopped due to Kovid lockdown. Despite the promising players, Madhya Pradesh needs additional support for sponsorship and coaching just like the southern states. Nityya said, “Today the situation is much better. This was not the case when I started playing. At that time, my parents spent a lot of money on me and worked hard, due to which I could become a woman FIDE master.”
