Shubman Gill has hit 17 centuries in international cricket at the age of 25. In this list, Sachin Tendulkar is at number one, who scored 40 international centuries at the age of twenty five while Virat Kohli scored 26 centuries. Gill as an Indian captain is the third player to score a century in both innings of one Test. Earlier, Sunil Gavaskar made Kolkata against West Indies in 1978 and Virat Kohli in Adelaide against Australia in 2014. After Gavaskar and Kohli, now Gill has added his name to this list.

Gill became the most runs in a Test match
Shubham Gill has become the highest run -scorer in a Test match. Gill has scored more than 520 runs in the second Test match, before which Sunil Gavaskar scored 344 runs. Gavaskar scored these runs in a Test match against West Indies in 1971, which was the highest run of an Indian in a single Test before Gill.
