New Delhi. Former captain of the Indian cricket team, Krishnamachari Srikanth, has exploded the bomb by not saying a place in the playing XI on the England tour of Shubman Gill. He has also mentioned the name of Team India’s new contender for the Test, who can bat at number four in place of Virat Kohli. After Rohit Sharma’s Test retirement, there is a debate on who will be the next Test captain of Team India. Shubman Gill’s name is being told at the forefront in this race, while some say that Jasprit Bumrah should command the Test team. But Srikanth’s opinion is all different. K Srikanth told the Times of India, ‘He is not sure to play in Test cricket. Jasprit Bumrah should be made the captain. If Bumrah is not fit or is not available for a match, then KL Rahul or Rishabh Pant should be made the captain of Team India. Srikanth has said this after seeing Gill’s recent performance on Australia tour. Where this batsman was struggling with form.
Shubman Gill’s average out of the house is 19
Shubman Gill’s average is just 19 in 12 innings in overseas out of the house. He has not scored any half -century outside the house.
