New Delhi: Actress Shubhangi Atre’s ex -husband was suffering from liver cirrhosis for a long time. He died on Saturday 19 April. The couple divorced on 5 February after spending 22 years together. Shubhangi Atre has expressed grief over the death of the ex -husband. He married in the year 2003. The conversation between the two was stopped after the divorce. Shubhangi Atre has become famous by playing the role of Angoori Bhabi in the popular TV show ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain’.
When the Times of India contacted Shubhangi Atre, she said, ‘Your sensation matters a lot to me in difficult times. I want you to give me some time to talk about it. A source close to the actress said, ‘There was no conversation between Shubhangi and Piyush. However, they are very sad. He has started shooting for the TV show ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ on Sunday.
Peace found after divorce
Shubhangi Atre’s ex -husband was associated with the digital marketing profession. They both have a daughter named Ashi. In an interview to Bombay Times, Shubhangi Atre talked about his divorce. He had said, ‘He was very painful. I gave everything to my relationship. Over time, differences arose between Piyush and me. However, now I have left that wedding. I feel peace, as if a heavy weight has been removed from me. Now I want to focus on my daughter and give her a happy and safe environment.
Shubhangi Atre wanted to save marriage
Shubhangi Atre further said, ‘We have almost been almost a year without being together. Piyush and I gave the best to save my marriage. Mutual respect, faith and friendship are the foundation of strong marriage. However, we realized that we could overcome our differences. You can give your space to each other. Shubhangi Atre is playing the role of Angoori Bhabi in TV’s famous show ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain’.
