New Delhi. TV’s headsam Hunk actor Shabbir Ahluwalia has expressed his opinion about the change in TV serials. He told that the way of telling stories on TV is no longer the same. Earlier TV shows used to go long and stories were slowly moving forward. But now the choice of the audience has changed, people like to see fast and strong stories.
Recently, Shabbir told in a conversation with IANS that now in TV shows the same old, similar and easy stories are slowly ending. Earlier, there was often the same plot, which the audience used to understand earlier what would happen next. But now things are changing. The choice of the audience is changing, they want to see something new, different and different. This change is a great opportunity for actors, writers and producers. Now they too are getting a chance to show new and different thinking stories, which was probably not possible before. Now they are getting the freedom to do something new after coming out of the old rules.

The shows have changed much more than before
When the actor was asked what is the biggest difference between his old projects and today’s TV shows? So he said that the biggest reason is a big change in the choice of the audience. Shabbir told that earlier TV shows always shown the same old and reliable stories that the audience liked and kept them connected to the channel. But now the time has changed. Today’s audience wants different stories, so in today’s shows, old formulas look less and new thinking is seen more.
Viewers are ready for experiment
Keeping his point further, Shabbir said, ‘I think the audience has changed a lot. Earlier there were some special formulas that always worked. But nowadays the audience is more ready to try new things. Because of this, we now get a chance to do such shows which are not usually not. Like in our show, the mail lead is very different and unique, which is not usually seen on TV. And the female lead loves life, which is completely opposite to the mail lead. Such a pair has hardly been seen before. But now because the audience is accepting new types of characters and stories, we are getting a chance to do something new. It is very exciting to be a part of this change.
Not only this, the actor told that the most important role in the success of any TV show or film is the audience. He said, ‘To be honest, everything depends on the audience. If the audience likes the show, then it will last for a long time, otherwise it will end soon.
