New Delhi: Asian Games gold medalist Satwik Sairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty reached the top ten in the BWF men’s doubles world rankings.

Both reached the semi -finals at the China Open last week, which gave them three places.

The former number one pair in the world and currently occupied Chirag at number ten and Satwik were defeated by Malaysia’s Aaron Chia and Soh Wui Yik 21-13 21-17.

Earlier, he also reached the semi -finals at the Singapore Open and India Open.

In the men’s singles, India’s top player Lakshya Sen reached 17th position with 54442 points while HS Pranay is two places to 33rd.

In the women’s singles, Unnati Hooda reached the best 31st rankings of the career, who defeated two -time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu.

Sindhu remains in 15th place. In the women’s doubles, Trisa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand remain at number 11, while Tanisha Krasto and Ashwini Ponnappa topped the 45th position.
