Tokyo Indian athlete Sarvesh Anil Kusare created history at the World Athletics Championship. On Sunday, he qualified for a high jump final in the championship. Sarvesh became the first Indian to do so. National record holder Ghulaveer Singh finished 16th with a disappointing performance in the 10,000 meter race.
Staying 34th in 36 competitive athletes from World Ranking Kota, finished joint seventh in Group B of 30 -year -old qualification round, who made it to the competition. He jumped 2.25 meters, he finished joint ninth in the overall rankings of both groups. The athletes, who made it to the qualifying standard of 2.30 meters or at least the best 12, reached the final round on Tuesday.
