However, after Doordarshan started spreading across the country in 1984, the promotion of Santoshi Mata gradually decreased. It was the time when the propagation of Vaishno Mata started increasing as communication and moving means of movement. Also, Gulshan Kumar, the owner of T-Series, took out a lot of videos of Vaishno Devi. Vaishno Mata was well publicized in films too and the wishes of the devotees started fulfilling the mother.
