Sanjeev Kumar: Can’t live more than 50 years, so play elderly roles

Bypass surgery was also done
Sanjeev Kumar won many awards due to his brilliant career. Won the National Award and made a character like Sholay’s Thakur memorable. He had heart disease and the US had to undergo bypass surgery once. But in 1985 he got another heart attack and he left this world.

No one in the family could live 50 crosses

It is also a coincidence that both brothers of Sanjeev Kumar could not live till the age of 50. One brother Nikul passed before him and another brother Kishore Kumar passed away after a few months. This was the reason that Sanjeev Kumar used to fear that he would not be able to live too much.
