New Delhi. Samsung has officially announced its next large software update, One UI 8, which is based on Android 16. Its beta version was released on 28 May 2025 and it will first be available in select markets on the Galaxy S25 series devices. One UI 8 has many new features and design changes, which will further improve the experience of Galaxy users.
One UI 8 release date
The beta version is available in the US, UK, Germany and South Korea for Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. It is rumored that the steady version of Samsung One UI 8 will declare in the Galaxy Unpacked event in July 2025 during its next foldable device, Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. Once this rollout starts, other qualified devices will receive updates in a phased manner.

One UI 8 many new features and necessary improvements:
1. Better samsung dex: Now WQHD supports resolution, which can rotate in three different directions, which makes its use even more versatile.
2. New brief and listen brief: The summary of the day gives users in voice or text, which includes weather, schedule and other information. You can choose Samsung or Google’s voice engine.
3. Dynamic Wallpaper: On the basis of day time i.e. in the morning, afternoon, evening and night, the colors change on their own.
4. Multitasking improvement: Better split-screen experience, in which one app is focused on the app while the other app remains active but minimized.
5. Refrested Reminder App: Better UI for the reminder app, as well as new templates that make it easier to add and manage tasks.
6. Quick share upgrade: Different “sent” and “Receive” options, which make the file sharing faster and better between two devices.
7. Samsung Internet: A better looking built-in browser, which has additional features to help find files.
8. auracast support: The users are allowed to share the audio broadcast using the QR code, which makes public audio streaming easier.
9. Smarter AI: Provides more intelligent suggestions and interaction based on the use of your device.
