Samsung has launched another strong phone of its Galaxy A series Samsung Galaxy A17 5G smartphone in India. This device was already available in some global markets and has now been introduced to Indian customers. The special thing is that this phone has AI features like Gemini Live and Circle to Search and it comes with one UI 7 based on Android 15. The company has promised that this phone will get OS and security updates for 6 years.
The starting price of Samsung A17 5G is Rs 18,999, which gives 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Apart from this, the price of its 8GB + 128GB variant is Rs 20,499 and the price of 8GB + 256GB variant is Rs 23,499.
This smartphone will be available in Black, Blue and Gray color options. Customers can buy it from Samsung e-store, Amazon, Flipkart and select retail stores. Apart from this, an instant discount of Rs 1,000 will also be available on SBI and HDFC Bank’s credit cards and EMI transactions.
Samsung Galaxy A17 5G features
The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G has a 6.7-inch full HD+ Infinity-U AMOLED display, which has a 90Hz refresh rate and corning glass Victus protection. The phone is given power from Exynos 1330 SOC processor and it works on One UI 7 (Android 15).
Talking about the camera, it gets a triple rear camera setup which includes a 50-megapixel main sensor OIS support, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro lens. A 13-megapixel selfie camera has been given in U-Shape Nokia in the front of the phone.
For power, the phone has a 5,000mAh battery which comes with 25W fast charging support. For connectivity, it has 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, OTG, USB TYPE-C port and side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Apart from this, the phone has received an IP54 rating, making it dust and splash resistant. Its weight is 192 grams.
