According to the report, ‘A class in BCCI believes that Kohli and Rohit should play some matches for India A to get ready for Australia series. The team of Australia A will also have Jake Fraser-Macgark. This team will visit India. These three list a match will be played on 30 September, 3 October and 5 October. At the same time a Test match will be played against India and West Indies.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have more than 10,000 runs in ODIs. Both of them played the last ODI in Dubai on March 9, 2025. The match was the final of the Champions Trophy 2025, in which India won the trophy by defeating New Zealand. In that match, Rohit scored 76 runs in 83 balls and won the Player of the Match award. Kohli had earlier scored 84 runs in 98 balls against Australia in the semi -finals. Virat Kohli also scored a century against Pakistan in a group match.
