The Central Investigation Agency Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued summons to Uthappa for questioning in the money laundering case related to the 1x Bet case. He has been asked to appear at the ED office in Delhi on 22 September 2025.

Uthappa was famous for explosive batting

These activities have been banned under the Online Gaming Act, 2025, and ED is taking strict action to break this network. The alleged involvement of other cricketers including Uthappa has made this investigation more serious.
