Rishabh Pant Injury Update: Everything was going well for India till the 65th over in the Manchester Test. After a heart -breaking defeat in Lord’s, the Indian team came out in revenge and showed patience and character. For half the time of the last session of the first day, the score had been 201 runs for 3 wickets, but then something happened that all the work was lost.
Indian wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant was badly injured on the first day of the fourth Test being played in Manchester.
He was taken out of the field in an ‘retired heart’ while trying to reverse the reverse sweep off England fast bowler Chris Woakes.
Rishabh Pant went out after a right leg injury and was playing 37 runs in 48 balls at that time.
He was first given medical treatment on the field, but then he was taken out of the ground in golf cart.
There was a blood coming out of Pant’s right leg and there was a lot of swelling in the leg. Regarding his recent injury, the BCCI issued a statement saying that, ‘Pant has been sent for a scan and the medical team of the board is closely monitoring.
Pant, who is struggling with fitness problems before the Manchester Test, is likely to be out of the way – this time his foot can be fractured in the finger, which can lead to the entire series.
Vox’s full length ball hit Pant’s toe and England players appealed to Pagbadha, but the appeal was rejected after the review.
Pant is hurt for the second time in the series. During the third Test at Lord’s, he suffered an injury to his finger while wicketkeeping, due to which he could not do wicketkeeping in the second innings of England.
Dhruv Jurael then took over the responsibility of wicketkeeping as a replacement, this time Jurael is going to be useful.
