New Delhi. Meta has officially announced that its AI-Integrated Ray-Ban Smart Glasses will now be launched in India, Mexico and United Arab Emirates. The company told in a blog post that it is introducing its ‘Next-Jen Viable Tech’ in the new global market. Along with this, Meta has rolled out its live translation feature for all Ray-Ban Smart Glosions.
These features were earlier available only to the members of the Early Access Program of Meta. In addition to live translation in the Early Access Program, the facility of sending and calling messages through Instagram and interactions with Meta AI.
Now live translation feature for everyone
The first glimpse of live translation was shown in Meta Connect 2024 last October and was launched limitedly through the Early Access Program of Meta in select countries last December. From today, it is being available in all the markets, where Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses are available. You can interact with someone who speaks English, French, Italian or Spanish and can hear translations in real time in your favorite language through smart glasses.
Wi-Fi live translation
If you already download a language pack, you can use a live translation feature without Wi-Fi or cellular network. This is more useful for those who often travel and have trouble in understanding the country.
Let us tell you that even though the company has confirmed the launch of Ray-Ban’s smart glasses in India, but it has not yet been told the date of its launch. It is expected that these smart ties can be launched in May.
