The actress said, ‘Rajesh Khanna was surrounded by complex people and I have seen her being generous together with her friends and co-stars … I have seen the price gift on them. Sometimes he used to buy a house for them. He also immediately told what problems were created later. Tagore explained, ‘But in return he used to expect too much, which would cause tension in the relationship.’

In 2012, Rajesh Khanna passed away, left his rich heritage and the world in mourning. Sharmila Tagore’s Bengali feature film Purtan is still running in some theaters.
