Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Saturday questioned Prime Minister Modi’s ambitious ‘Make in India’ scheme. He wrote in a video post on social media x- Make in India scheme claimed to increase production in the country, but the manufacturing record is at a low level and unemployment is the highest.
He said- Since 2014, manufacturing in the country has declined by 14% and the import from China has doubled. Rahul Gandhi said that PM specializes to shout slogans, not solution. The truth is that we assembled, import, but do not manufacture. This benefits China.
Rahul described the ‘Made in India’ scheme as ‘Assembly in India’.
Rahul said- PM surrendered Rahul criticized the country’s economic model and said- I met Shivam and Saif at Nehru Place in New Delhi. Both were skilled and promising. Still, they are not getting a chance to work as per their wish.
Rahul said- The truth is that we assemble, import, but do not manufacture. This benefits China. PM Modi does not have any new ideas. They have surrendered. The government also closed the PLI scheme.
