Google’s Quick Share Tool can soon work on iPhone and Mac. Till now it was used only on Android devices, chromebook and windows PC, but now it can also come on iOS. This feature works exactly the same way Apple’s Airdrop. The iPhone and MAC users can share the file immediately with each other through the aircraft. Now if this update comes, it will be easy to transfer direct files between Android and Apple devices.

According to Android Authority report, Quick Share has also been seen for iPhone in a new beta version of Google Play Services (25.34.31). That is, Google is now preparing to bring this feature on iOS and MACOS. However, to use it on iPhone, you may have to sign in Google account. It is not needed on Android, but this can happen due to privacy and permission in iOS.

It is already present in most Android phones and chrombooks, and its Windows app was also arrived since 2023. Now if this comes on the iPhone and Mac too, then it will really be a big change.

Universal service can be made
Although it may be a little challenge for iPhone users, as they already have a AirDrop, which is inbuilt in the system. But many users have difficulty in cross-platform sharing. Often people resort to email, whatsapp, or cloud service for file transfer. In such a situation, Quick Share can prove to be a work option for iOS and Macos. If Quick Share comes on iOS, then all Android, iPhone, Chromebook and Windows will become a universal file sharing service for users.
