The Indian Army will get a Quick Reaction Surface to Air Missile System (QRSAM) of ₹ 30 thousand crore. According to defense officials- Ministry of Defense is considering the proposal to buy three regiments of QRSAM for deployment on the western and northern border of the country.
According to officials, this defense system has been prepared by Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). It can be moved from one place to another. The system has a capacity to find, search, track and fire in a short time.
With a range of about 30 km, the Medium Rage Surface to Air Missile System (MRSAM) and Akash will support the existing air defense system in less distance than Qrsam Medium. Qrsam has been tested in both day and night. The council meeting to include this defense system in the army may be held in the fourth week of June.

- 160 objects can be tracked simultaneously from a unit of S-400. 2 missiles can be launched for a target.
- In S-400, 400 reflects the range of this system. The system that India is getting is 400 kilometers. That is, it can detect its target from 400 km away and attack the counter. It can also attack its target even at a height of 30 km.
