After the controversy over the poster, the Congress deleted the post late on 28 April.
On April 28, the Congress shared a post to disappear Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which was later deleted on the Pahalgam terror attack. On this, there was a round of allegations and counter-allegations between the Congress and the BJP leaders.
Seeing the matter growing, the Congress issued a guideline for party leaders to make a statement on the Pahalgam attack at around 11:30 pm on Tuesday. Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal has asked all the officials issued to take care and discipline.
In the circular, only the authorized leaders will give a statement on behalf of the party. If a leader violates these instructions, strict disciplinary action will be taken against him. All leaders, spokespersons, panelists and social media handles will only make a statement by the Congress Working Committee (CWC) as per the proposal passed on 24 April 2025.

The Congress posted a picture on its official X handle on 28 April, in which the head of the person wearing a kurta-pajama was severed and his hands and feet were missing. It was written in its caption- Gayab (missing) at the time of responsibility.
This post of Congress was seen linking to the all -party meeting held on 24 April after the Pahalgam attack. Prime Minister Modi did not attend the meeting. The Congress had demanded that the Prime Minister also join it. The meeting was chaired by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.
On the post, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said that the thinking of Congress and terrorists is the same. The Congress is Lashkar-e-Pakistan. The Congress tower gets the signal of the Congress. This is happening on Rahul’s signal. The Congress is doing this for accolades in Pakistan.

In the poster war issued between the BJP-Congress, BJP’s spokesperson RP Singh released a poster. Wearing a white t -shirt like Rahul and putting a Gandhi hat, the person is shown carrying a knife back. He has released this photo with ‘Pakistan’s Yaar’ caption.

Rahul and Kharge wrote a letter to PM Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi have written a letter to Prime Minister Modi. The two leaders have appealed to the Prime Minister to call a special session of both houses of Parliament.

A special session was called on Monday in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly. During this time, tributes were paid to tourists killed in Pahalgam attack. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said- As a host, I was responsible for security. How did I apologize to the family of these people. I have no words.
