Union Minister Vaishnav gave information about the decisions of the cabinet.

A cabinet meeting of economic affairs was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Union Minister Vaishnav said that two multitraging projects covering Jharkhand, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh have been approved in the meeting.

These projects include a 133 km Koderma-Barkakana and a dual line of Ballari-Chikajajur with 185 km. Whose cost is ₹ 6405 crore.

Earlier, 5 decisions related to development were taken in the meeting held on May 28. The central government had increased the minimum support price (MSP) of 14 crops. Also, the central government had decided to continue the interest subsidy scheme of Kisan Credit Card for 2025-26.

Two multi -tracking projects of Indian Railways were approved in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. The 108 km long four-lane highway project was also approved between Badvel-Nellar in Andhra Pradesh.

Farmers will get higher price for crops

On May 28, the central government increased the minimum support price (MSP) of 14 crops of Kharif including paddy, cotton, soybean, pigeonpea. The new MSP of paddy was fixed at Rs 2,369, which is Rs 69 more than the previous MSP. The new MSP of cotton was fixed at Rs 7,710. May 14: The country’s sixth semiconductor unit was approved

The last cabinet meeting took place on 14 May. The sixth semiconductor unit of the country was approved in that meeting. This unit will be installed in jewelry in Uttar Pradesh for Rs 3706 crore.

HCL and Foxconn will jointly create this unit. The plant will have mobile phones, laptops, automabels, personal computers, and display driver chips for other display devices. 3.6 crore chips will be made every month.

The India Semiconductor Mission was launched in 2022. Under this, 6 projects have been approved so far. Construction work is going on fast. Students of 270 educational institutions and 70 startups are learning semiconductor technology through the latest tools.
