In the roadshow, the Prime Minister will reach the BBJP office at Virchand Patel Path via Dumra Chowki, Bailey Road, Income Tax Golambar. There will be a meeting with party workers there. The next day i.e. on May 30, a public meeting will be held in Rohtas.

This is PM Modi’s second Bihar tour after the Pahalgam attack. Earlier, he reached Madhubani on 24 April. From here he gave a strong message to Pakistan. PM is coming to Bihar for the first time after Operation Sindoor.

PM Modi’s road show will be 45 minutes, which will be from the airport to the BJP office. During this period, more than 3 thousand police personnel have been deployed in the city along with 200 magistrates.

The Bihar Police Headquarters has issued an alert in view of the security of Prime Minister Modi. Especially in addition to road show places in Patna, strict arrangements have been made at the proposed program sites in Rohtas.

Traffic system will change

On May 29, during the road show of PM Modi in Patna, the traffic system has been changed from 4 to 8 pm. Trains in both lanes from Dumra Chowk to Income Tax Golambar on Bailey Road will remain closed.

Apart from this, all the routes leading to the airport will be closed from 9 am to 10.10 am on 30 May. Flight -catch passengers will have to reach the airport 3 hours ago.

  • The work of the new terminal building of ‘Jai Prakash International Airport’ in Patna, which started from a small airstrip in 1973, was completed. Currently, about 25 lakh passengers travel from the airport a year, after the new terminal starts, this number can reach 1 crore.
  • The terminal has been prepared at a cost of Rs 1,400 crore in 10 years. Now international flights will also start after 26 years from Patna. Singapore’s Mainhore company designed architecture to create a world class terminal. Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited of Hyderabad did the rest of the work.
  • In this project, multi -level car parking, air traffic control cum technical building, fire station, cargo complex, flying club have also been built. Not only the routes of Arrival and Departure have been separated, but the floor itself has been separated.
  • The number of check in counters has been increased to 64. Security checking points have been increased three times. The number of Aero Bridge has been increased to 5.

What facilities will be provided to passengers from the new terminal…

Different entry-exit: Different entry and exit have been created in the new terminal building of Patna Airport. It has been shifted to different floors. The entire terminal building is G Plus One. Arrangements have been made for departure (visiting) on ​​the first floor, while there is a facility of Arrival (coming) on ​​the ground floor. For this, 5 entry gates and 4 exit gates have been built.

Check in counter: The new terminal building has 64 check in counters. This will not make passengers in a long queue.

Security checking: 5 security points have been created in the new terminal building. Apart from the high -tech scanner machine, three types of CCTV cameras and a sensor machine have been installed at every point.

Aerobridge: Passengers have become 5 aerobridges to go directly into the aircraft. Through this aerobridge, passengers will be able to sit directly in the plane from the first floor. An aerobridge is in ready to start mode. All 5 aerobridges will become operational after the old building is broken.

Flight: Right now 34 flights are coming. 75 flights will come after the new terminal is built. Right now, about 25 lakh passengers travel from Patna Airport a year, this number will reach 1 crore after the new terminal.

Ptt , Parallel taxi track (PTT) is being formed with the new terminal. The current runway has space for the same flight. Meaning one flight is on the runway, the other flight cannot land, but after the PTT is made, another flight will be able to land on it.

Airplane Parking: Currently, there can be 5 aircraft parks, but 11 aircraft will be able to park after the new terminal.

Car Parking: Multi -level car parking, air traffic control and airport fire station are also built. Multi -level car parking is of 4 floor. In this, 750 vehicles can be parked simultaneously. Passengers from multi -level car parking will directly reach the departure from the terminal building via traveler.

Facility to go from parking to new terminal floor: On both floors of the new terminal, passengers will be able to go through their vehicles. A special ramp (special route) has been made for this. Also, the multi -level parking next to the terminal building has also added both the floor of the terminal building through the ramp.

Other facilities available at the airport-

Cargo Complex: The cargo complex has also been developed. Vegetables and fruits are cultivated on a large scale around Patna. It will be easy to send it to other cities. It has also been decided to restore the refrigerator system at the airport.

Dormitory: The new building has the facility of dormitory i.e. bedroom. If the flight is late or canceled, then the passengers will get the facility to stop

Understand the complete plan of new airport expansion

Area : The terminal building of the existing airport is 11 thousand 820 square meters. After the new building, the total area will be 65 thousand 150 square meters.

Floor : The new building is G Plus One. There will be Arrival in the ground floor. That is, it will be for the passengers coming from the flight. At the same time, there will be departure on the first floor. That is, it will be for the passengers going by flight. Two VIP lounges are built on the ground floor. There is a lounge on the first floor.

Runway: The length of the runway is still 2072 meters, this will remain the same. However, the length of the runway should be at least 2438 meters. Right now the aircraft descends on the horizon of 3 degrees as the length is reduced, while it should land on the horizon of 2.5 degrees.

Immigration counter with new terminal: Immigration counters will also be started after the new terminal is built at Patna Airport. This will make foreign travel more easier. International flights from Patna were closed since 1999. These flights will start again after 26 years.

Since the new terminal has been formed, direct flights from Patna to Dubai, Bangkok, Singapore, Kathmandu, Myanmar may start.
