The Government of India has prepared a new scheme for manufacturers making all phones and tablets, under which now companies making mobile phones and tablets will have to tell the repair score of their divies.
Repairability score means that your divisic can be repaired many times. A committee of the Department of Consumer Affairs has proposed to all phones and tablet manufacturers to self-declare a repair qualification index for their products. According to Samiti, repairability index should be given unividity. So that the user of Divis has more clearness about repairability.
What will be the benefit of repairability score
When you buy any phone or tablet, there is a warranty with it. That is, if something happens to your device within the time limit of that warranty, then the company will give it to the repair or replacement. But as soon as the warranty is terminated, the users have to face a lot of problems in repairing it when Divis breaks down. In such a situation, if the user knows about his repairability score while shopping, then he will be able to take better practice about buying Divis.
Repairability Index will give every device a rating on the basis of how easy it is, availability of spare parts, access to repair information, software updates and other things. Those makers will also have to take a cloth on this score product packaging. Through QR code, they have to be shown in retail stores and on e-commerce listing. In this way, consumers will be able to see whether a device can be cured easily before deciding to buy.
