PCB Chief Selector Aaqib Javed Bold Prediction: Pakistan will defeat India in Asia Cup, PCB Chief Selector has predicted

New Delhi. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken some difficult decisions while announcing the 17 -member team for the Asia Cup 2025. The 3 top stars Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Nasim Shah of the country have been ignored by the selectors. Pakistan Cricket Board chief selector Aqib Javed is confident that this Pakistan team will beat India in the Asia Cup. Javed said that despite the recent poor performance, the current Pakistan team has the ability to defeat Suryakumar Yadav -led Indian team.

Javed said, “Pakistan’s T20 team can defeat India. India vs Pakistan matches are always big. This 17 -member team can defeat any team. We should not put pressure on them, but I have high hopes from this team.”

PCB has expressed confidence in young stars and showed the way out to many senior players including Babar Azam. According to Javed, Pakistan Super League has played a big role in helping the board selection. “It’s not that we are ignoring them completely. The current selection shows how a player develops. I have given examples of Sahibzada Farhan, Syam and Fakhar. Sahibzada started the return Size in the beginning but later affected.”

Javed further said, “You cannot approve a player’s career. There are always opportunities. Right now they are gaining experience in leagues like Big Bash and PSL. Whatever will be performed, he will play, and only those who will perform will perform, they are entitled to play,”
