Rajasthan Intelligence has arrested government employee Shakur Khan late night on charges of espionage for Pakistan. Shakur was detained by intelligence and other investigating agencies on 5 days ago (28 May).

Shakur has also served as a personal assistant (PA) of former minister and Congress leader Saleh Mohammed in 2008. At that time Saleh was an MLA from Mohammad Pokaran.
It was revealed in the inquiry that Shakur was also in touch with Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish, an officer of Pakistan’s High Commission in India like U-Tuber Jyoti Malhotra of Haryana. Shakur used to meet Sohail waist in Pakistan Embassy.
Shakur is currently a clerk in the District Employment Office in Jaisalmer. He presented him in court today. The court handed over on remand till 10 June.
IG CID CB (Security) Vishnukant Gupta said- Shakur Khan’s activities were found to be suspected by security agencies.

Shakur had met these people several times in Pakistan Embassy. With the help of Shakur Danish, he has visited Pakistan several times and has traveled to Pakistan. Shakur Khan was in touch with 13 people of ISI through WhatsApp. Used to give information about army movement on WhatsApp. Some other people have also been sent to Pakistan.
Name many people Shakur Khan, an accused of espionage, is a resident of Mangalais Dhani, Baroda village on the India-Pakistan border. While living here, he is accused of spying for Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. During interrogation, Shakur has told several names to the investigating agency.

Pakistan’s visit had increased doubt According to the information, Shakur Khan went to Pakistan some time ago without departmental permission. Security agencies had become alert after the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor and were keeping an eye on every suspicious activity.
He was detained by security agencies on the basis of this suspicious activity of Shakur. Despite Shakur being a government employee, he was being questioned on visiting Pakistan without informing the department.
