More than 100 drones, missiles were attacked by Pakistan on Wednesday night in 11 areas including Jammu, Pathankot in Jammu and Kashmir, although missile defense system S400 and Akash failed the attack.
The Army retaliated, 7 terrorists have been killed by BSF personnel in Samba International Border. Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha will meet army soldiers today and CM Omar Abdullah has reached Jammu.
At the same time, there is a continuous bombing in several sectors including Kupwara, Uri, RSpura, Baramulla on the LoC, there are also reports of missiles being fired in many places.
So far 17 people have lost their lives in these attacks, while more than 50 people are injured. Jammu and Kashmir is on high alert after Operation Sindoor, which started on the night of 7 May.
Akash and S400 Air Defense System failed Pakistani attack
Last night, Pakistan tried unsuccessfully to send drones to several areas near Loc and International Border. According to sources, the Air Defense Units of the Indian Army took major action and killed more than 50 drones.
The operation went on in Udhampur, Samba, Jammu, Akhnoor, Nagrota and Pathankot. The army used ‘Akash’ and S400 missile defense systems as well as L-70 guns, ZU-23mm, Shilka System and Advanced Drone equipment.
Common people’s houses were damaged in firing
Pakistan’s shelling damaged the houses of common people. Shailesh Kumar, a resident of Rajouri village, said- We left our house in fear and ran away at night. Two buildings were damaged. Two shells fell at my house too. So we ran away from here. The entire village was deserted and some people took their animals with them as well.
He said- Balakot, Mendhar, Mankot, Krishna Valley, Gulpur, Kerni and Poonch, adjacent to LoC, opened fire with cannons at the district headquarters. This has damaged dozens of homes and vehicles.

On May 8, 13 -year -old Vihaan Bargawa died in Pakistan’s shelling in Poonch.
Mohammad Sahil is a resident of Salamabad village in Uri. His house was damaged in the May 8 attack.
On Thursday night, Pakistan also tried to attack a drone on Pathankot Airbase, the Indian defense system thwarted the attack.

On the night of 8-9 May, BSF has killed seven terrorists infiltrating the International Border (IB) in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
