Pakistan vs UAE: Pakistan defeated UAE by 41 runs and made it to the Asia Cup Super 4. The UAE team is now out of the tournament. Fakhar Zaman, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Junaid Siddiqui and Simranjit Singh performed brilliantly. Now India will compete with Pakistan in Super-4.

Shaheen Afridi overturned
Shaheen Afridi played a 29 -run innings of 29 runs off the first 14 balls and brought the Pakistan team to such a score, which has been impossible for any Associate Nation team so far. Shaheen also took two wickets while defending the goal. Pakistan’s top order once again failed, except for senior player Fakhar Zaman (50 runs off 36 balls). But Mohammad Haris (18) and Shaheen Shah Afridi (29 not out in 14 balls) brought the team to the score of 146 runs for nine wickets. For associate countries, any score above 130 against Test playing countries becomes difficult because the bowling level becomes much better. And the same happened with the host UAE team which was reduced to 105 runs in 17.4 overs. For this, Rahul Chopra scored 35 runs and Dhruv Parashar scored 20 runs.
Afridi took two wickets for 16 runs. Haris Rauf and Abrar Ahmed also got two wickets. Alishan Sharafu (12) and UAE captain Muhammad Wasim (14) were dismissed soon. Rahul Chopra and Dhruv Parashar tried towards them, but they could not put big shots. Finally the UAE batting order collapsed. Earlier, UAE fast bowler Junaid Siddiqui took four wickets and left -arm spinner Simranjit Singh, born in Ludhiana, took three wickets but Pakistan took him to 146 runs for nine wickets.
Siddiqui-Simranjeet upset Pakistani batters
Siddiqui (four wickets for 18 runs) and Simranjeet (three wickets for 26) bowled the best against a Test playing country for UAE. Siddiqui dismissed Sam Ayub for the second consecutive time, while Sahibzada Farhan (05) also fell victim to him soon. Captain Salman Aga (20 runs) was caught by Dhruv Parashar at the hands of Hyder Ali. In the middle overs, Simranjeet took the wickets of Hasan Nawaz and Khushdil Shah after dismissing Fakhar Zaman. Mohammad Nawaz again was dismissed on Siddiqui’s ‘Arm Ball’. In the end, Shaheen made some tremendous shots, which reached the score of 150. Siddiqui took the fourth wicket as Harice.
