New Delhi: Tamil actor-director Vijay Antony faced criticism for the reaction of ‘Pakistan-like peace and happiness like us like us’, condemning the Pahalgam attack. After being a victim of a lot of trolls, now the actor has once again issued a new statement to clarify his response. He mentioned that the new statement about Ekta was for those who misunderstood his previous message.
Actor’s old statement
A few days after the Pahalgam attack on 22 April, Vijay Antony shared a statement. He wrote in his note written in English, in which he said, ‘My heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in Kashmir. This is a painful moment for all of us Indians. He further said that Pakistani people also want happiness. Also, we should also be worried about 50 lakh Indians in Pakistan, who want peace and happiness with Pakistanis like us. Let’s choose love and humanity instead of hate.
