Oppo has launched its new smartphone A5G 5G. The phone is launched with an IP65 rating. That is, you do not need to push dust and water. It also has a military-std-810h shock resistance and SGS Gold Durability Label. It has strong ports, waterproof sealing and double-tempered glass, which is 160% stronger than normal glass.
Its alloy frame makes it durable even in falling, scratching and difficult situations. The display is protected from a layer of Gorilla Glass 7i. The device measures 165.7 x 76.2 x 7.9mm and weighs 194 grams.
Oppo A5 5G has a 6.67-inch LCD display, which has a resolution of 1604 × 720 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, 264PPI pixel density and HBM mode have peak brightness up to 1,000 notes. This device runs on Coloros 15 based on Android 15. It has a side-facing fingerprint sensor for safety.
To power this device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, which comes with 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. There is also an option to increase storage through microSD card. Oppo A5 5G has a large 6,000mAh battery, which supports 45W fast charging.
Talking about cameras, the A5 5G has a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel monochrome lens. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie. Other major features include 5G support, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB-C ports.
Oppo A5 5G has been launched in two variants 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB. The 6GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 15,499, while the 8GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 16,999. It has two color options – Aurora Green and Mist White. Buyers can buy it from today from Amazon, Flipkart, Oppo’s official stores and major offline retailers.
