Odisha Taekwondo Championship: Harshita Yadav of Lalchandpura village in Jaipur won the gold medal in the Taekwondo Championship and illuminated the name of Rajasthan.

Jaipur. If a person wants to do something, then he can achieve every place with his hard work and dedication. Harshita Yadav of Lalchandpura, a small village in Hathoj of Jaipur, has proved this. Harshita won the gold medal in the under-38 category at the 4th Sub-Joonier and Senior National Taekwondo Championship held from 28 August to 2 September in Cuttack, Odisha. This achievement is not only a matter of pride for his family and village but is also inspiring for the whole of Rajasthan.

Harshita Yadav is currently a Class 7 student in Rameswaram School. His journey in the world of Taekwondo started five years ago. Harshita, coming from a simple background, did not give up even in difficult circumstances. He has introduced his talent by winning eight medals so far at the district level and state level. But this is the first time he has created history by winning medals at the national level.

Herrashita’s success is a major contribution behind her constant hard work and guidance of coach Praveen. Hard training and disciplined lifestyle have brought him to this point. His victory has given a message that even if children coming from rural environment are determined, they can leave their mark at national and international level. Harshita’s story is an excellent example of struggle and success.

It is not easy to get out of the streets of the village and reach the national platform, but he proved that if there is a passion to dream and fulfill them, no obstacle can become a hindrance in the way.

Harshita now wants to play internationally. Talking to Local 18, Harshita said that she has intensified the preparation even more. The coach has also started training Harsita. She said that she wants to bring gold for the country by playing internationally.
