New Delhi. It seems that the companies that make robots have decided that they will accept every sector by working with their robots. Robots have now hit entry in the medical field as well. Billionaire Alan Musk claimed on Monday that robots have the ability to leave the best human surgeons behind in the next five years.

The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX reported that their brain-computer interface company Nuraralink depends on robots to insert brain-computer electrodes as this work is not possible with humans. Musk shared in a post on social media platform x that robots will leave the best human surgeons in a few years and the best human surgeons in the next five years.

The work that will be impossible for humans, robots
Masak said that Neuralink had to use a robot to insert brain-computer electrodes, as it was impossible for humans to achieve the necessary speed and accuracy. The post came in response to another post by influencer Mario Navalfal, in which he highlighted the recent success of robotics in medicine by US-based medical device company Medtronic.

Navalfal said that Medtronic successfully deployed its Hugo robotic system in 137 actual surgery and corrected the problems of prostate, kidney and bladder. The results of the surgery were better than the expectation of doctors and the success rate of more than 98 percent was seen.

The rate of complications for prostate surgery (3.7 percent), kidney surgery (1.9 percent) and bladder surgery (17.9 percent) was also quite low. Navalfal said that only two out of 137 surgery had to be converted into regular surgery – due to a robot malfunction and due to the case of a complex patient.

Meanwhile, Musk’s neurolink is currently clinical trial of its brain-computer interface technology. The company aims to create brain control divas for people suffering from paralysis or neurodynative diseases. Although no divisive is commercially available so far, three people have successfully received a neurolink brain implant. Musk said on X in 2024 that if everything goes well, hundreds of people will use neurolink in a few years, perhaps in 5 years in 5 years and millions of people in 10 years.
