The actress told that her childhood was spent walking at different army posts, sometimes she stayed in Kashmir, sometimes in Uttarakhand, sometimes in Arunachal Pradesh. He said, ‘Even though these places were very beautiful, their childhood was not only related to their beauty. At that time there was terrorism and stressful atmosphere in these areas, due to which there was an atmosphere of fear and insecurity.

My father was an army officer in the hill regiment, so I got a chance to live in states like Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh, the beautiful hill areas of India. But in the memories of the days of Kashmir, fear and insecurity are very deep, because there was a very tense atmosphere at that time.
