New Delhi: The 2016 musical romantic drama ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ featured Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles and the soulful story of the film impressed many people. During that time, however, Ranbir and Aishwarya’s on-screen pair were the most discussed in showbiz. During an old interview with the Times of India, Ranbir spoke openly about his relationship with Aishwarya.
Ranbir had worked with Aishwarya earlier also
During that time, the ‘Animal’ actor talked about meeting Aishwarya on the set of a film directed by his father Rishi Kapoor. It was for the 1999 film Aa Ab Laut Chalen directed by Rishi, in which Aishwarya played the lead roles with Akshaye Khanna and Rajesh Khanna. Ranbir shared that he had a special relationship with the ‘Iruvar’ actress, who used to treat her as a Kalig i.e. a colleague.
Ranbir’s friendship with Aishwarya since the age of 15
Ranbir told, ‘I knew Aishwarya since childhood, because I was assistant in my father’s film’ Aa Ab Laut Chale ‘. I was just 15 years old and was in class X, but Aishwarya and I had a friendship. We used to talk about her and her life and she considered me equal to her. She used to treat me like a friend, not like a child and she was very kind with me. Please tell that there is a 9 -year age gap between Ranbir and Aishnarya.
What do Ranbir think about Aishwarya
The actor revealed that years later, despite sharing screen space with Aishwarya in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, there was no change in her perception about Aishwarya. He said, ‘Even today she is exactly the same as before. Nothing has changed in them. Apart from her beauty and achievements, the world that already knows, for me she will always be the girl who used to roam with me on my father’s set.
Talking about the workfront, Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in the hit film ‘Animal’ at the box office, which was directed by Sandeep Reddy Wanga and will soon start work on its sequel ‘Animal Park’. Apart from this, Ranbir is currently ready for the release of Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’ with Sai Pallavi and Yash. And he will also start shooting for ‘Love and War’ directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, in which he will share screen space with Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt.
