New Delhi: In Indian cinema, bringing bold scenes on screen has become common and these trends are very high in Bollywood. Where there are skin makers who feel that their livelihood will run through bold and vulgar content, but they do not think of the audience who have children in their family. Meanwhile, well-known director-actor Sundar C of South gave a bold statement during a recent YouTube interview, in which he said that his films never have pornographic scenes or double-meaning dialogues.
Director claims, do not have dialogue with double meaning
The director insisted that he had primary audience family and children. He says, ‘I make sure that my films are suitable for everyone to watch. I do not write dialogue with double meanings, and if something seems, then it is only the perception of the viewer, not my intention. He insisted that from scripting to shooting, he takes care of avoiding vulgarity and vulgar comedy.
Sundar C said, no porn shot in my films
The director says, ‘No double meaning, no porn shot.’ During the conversation with Galta, he explained in detail about his filmmaking choice, especially about glamor and visual presentation. He told, ‘Glamor can be there, but it depends on how you shoot it. Even the saree may look unfair when shot from the wrong angle. I always want the scenes of my films to be so good that I can see with my family. Further Sundar C also told that he has never included item number or sexual violence in his films, which strengthens his claim to maintain the content. Fans also highlight the contradictions with old scenes and dialogues.
Trols happening by bold
However, his statement created a wave of trolling on social media, in which fans and critics posted clips of his previous films which are denied his claims. Many nebenses have examples of films like Kalkalappu, Aranmanai and Thalaginagarm which have double -meaning dialogues and objectionable scenes and hence they believe that Sundar C’s statement is not correct. A user wrote sarcastically, ‘Family friendly? Then what was that swimming pool scene in Aranmanai? While the other posted a double -meaning clip from Kalkalappu, which was titled, ‘Just our imagination, I think?’
Internet trolls dominated as soon as the release of ‘Gangers’ came close to the release. His upcoming film ‘Ganggers’, in which he is working again with comedians Vadivelu, is ready to release on April 24 and fans are excited to see if the directors live up to his new film for his claim.
