Relief in arthritis from home remedies
In a conversation with Local 18, local resident Urmila Mishra shared that when the elderly had pain in the olden times, they used to adopt desi remedies and the same tradition is still intact today. He said that paste is prepared using garlic, fenugreek seeds, turmeric, onion, linseed and coconut or olive oil to get relief from arthritis or knee pain. This paste should lukewarm and leave it on the knees and leave it for 15 minutes. By adopting this process 3 to 4 times a day, the pain starts getting rest.
Not only the knee, people here also trust home remedies for heel pain. For this, two tubs have to be prepared, in which one has to add cold water with ice and light lukewarm water in the other. Then the legs are first kept in cold water and kept, till the end can be endured and then the legs are taken out and put in lukewarm water. Repeating this process 6 to 8 times gives relief from heel pain in a few days.

Today, when people have started resorting to medicines and operations for every minor and big illness, the traditional practices of Baghelkhand are not only economical, but are also proving effective.
