India’s 27 -year -old defending world champion Neeraj Chopra crossed the 90 -meter magical figure in the Doha Dimeond League in May with an attempt of 90.23 meters but finished second after Germany’s Julian Weber. He then won the Paris Dimond League title with an effort of 88.16 meters in Junior. After the Brussels phase, the top six players will make it to the Dimond League Finals to be held in Zurich.
Neeraj played his previous competitive tournament on July 5 as NC Classic in Bengaluru where he won the tournament held under his hosting with an attempt of 86.18 meters. Overall, Neeraj took part in six competitions so far in the current session, out of which he won the title in four and two finished second. Chopra will defend his title in the World Championship to be held in Tokyo from September 13 to 21.
Neeraj Chopra won the gold medal at the Tox Olympics while he captured Silver at the Paris Olympics. Boy Neeraj Chopra, poster of Indian athletics, does his training abroad.
